In 1984, one hundred women started the first female Mardi Gras organization on the Eastern Shore. Over the years we have grown and today boast a strong thriving membership of 400+. The Maids of Jubilee have been setting the gold standard since our first ball in 1985 and our first parade in 1989. The MOJ’s have long history of trailblazing to include parading with the first female Marshal’s, ever. The joy, the fun and excitement of the MOJ sisterhood never fades, we are forever Mermaid Strong!
